Ovarian cancer fund-raising event adds 5k run to broaden its reach in the Salt Lake community

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and outdoor and fitness enthusiasts from around the United States will be heading to Salt Lake City for the Eighth Annual HERA Climb4Life Utah, a rock climbing fundraising event that supports the HERA Women's Cancer Foundation's ovarian cancer research and awareness initiatives. This event has attracted women and men from more than 20 states, many who learn to rock climb at the event. Last year's event raised more than $100,000 for ovarian cancer research.

The Eighth Annual HERA Climb4Life will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah on Sept. 17-20, 2009
